NOMINATIONS FOR DIVERSITY CHAMPION AWARD

The nonprofit organization, Community Celebrating Diversity, is seeking nominations for Diversity Champions — individuals who exemplify the philosophy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and who have enriched the community by empowering others. Eligible nominees must work, live or volunteer in Scottsdale.
To recognize individuals who live, work or volunteer in the Scottsdale community and who have made outstanding contributions to advance civil and human rights and advocated for justice and understanding.
Diversity Champions will be recognized on Tuesday January 9 2018, when Community Celebrating Diversity and APS host the annual Martin Luther King Jr. “Living the Dream” Dinner Celebration.
“Lessons Learned – Leaving a Legacy”, our 2018 keynote speaker Mr. Robert (Bob) Enderle will share his perspective on diversity of more than 35 years of leadership in Human Resource management and his life growing up during the civil rights era as a white man living in and raising a multi-racial family, including his most recent challenge with stage IV cancer.
The event begins with a 5:00 p.m. registration at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch, 7700 East McCormick Parkway, Scottsdale AZ 85258.
